Hi there 56150,

Yep too quiet here but believe it or not, I've been busy with models. Not building but ever since the So Cal NNL, I've been putting together the article for this show. I do it in my spare time, that's true but there's more to it than you think as I started the day after the contest & I hope to finish this weekend. I got a lot of great photos & thank you all for your help. I had a very good time & it was good to see everyone (yes, you too Fuelish)..!

Seems like local shows are getting smaller but I also think they're getting better, or at least more friendly. I also want to congratulate junior modeler Claire Hanson on her Best Junior win for her 1937 Monogram Ford Sedan & Al Camacho for his winning pick-up, great stuff..!

My next model project is simple, I need to find or build a set of wheels with tires for Lindberg's Chrysler Atlantic kit. Anybody got something interesting, let me know..!

So how about all of you..? What's the next show ? What are you working on ? What do you like or dislike about any model related subject..? It's all here & all freeeeeeee..!

Yeah, been a little busy gettin some bench time myself. The Modeling Group has decided to do a "contest" for December. Subject - Customs and/or Hot Rod(s). Build one or both. Same format as last time.

Who knows - might get one done by then.

Yes I just got an email from Brian about that,

While I doubt I'll be entering, I would like to post a photo of the winning hot rod & custom here when all is done...! I finished my article for MCM & sent it off to Harry & Gregg.

I was able to watch the Indy 500 & NASCAR this weekend & it was fun to be a couch potato.

What's the word on the Citrus Nats guys..?
