Some news on Killer bug
I met a gentleman at NNL West who was waiting for me when i when to pack up my in progress bug, and he told me he lived across the street from the real owner of the real Engine Masters f/c. the gentleman lived in Sonoma, Ca. and that he was going to show his pictures he took of my model and show them to his neighbor, I gave him my e-mail address and my fotki name so he could take a look at the build progress.
So last week I got an e-mail from bug oweners daughter telling me the her father was excited about my build and if I would like to call him, he would very much like to talk to me. soooo..... I will be calling him tommorow to see how it goes.

That's great news Bob,
Maybe you can get some more referance photos from him but I wonder why the owner didn't email you himself..? In any case I wish you the best & I have a strange story to tell as well.

To make a long story short I became friends at work with a guy we call KP & at first I didn't care what that stood for. One day he finds out I'm interested in drag racing & asks me "how come you've never asked me about racing..?" "Well who are you" I asked diplomaticaly, turns out he's top fuel & funny car tuner Kevin Poynter from Doug Herbert, David Baca & John Force Racing. So now if I ever win the Lottery & can afford to race, I might have me a tuner.
