Hi All, I stumbled over this forum and thought i'm come say hello.
I'm in Southern Oregon and have a site devoted to dirt racing modeling.
I hope to make it down to some shows in California in 2012 both as a vendor and to display some of my works.
Though the main focus on Dirtmodeler.com is dirt cars, i have worked a little with Clay Kemp, and he's designed some drag racing suspension parts that I had etched.
Due to the popularity of the drag racing stuff, I think i'll be adding more.. like some new wheel and beadlock options for modern Top Fuel, Funny Car, and Altereds.
Is anyone on here associated with running the upcoming Route 66 show? I'd like to get involved as a small sponsor.
Many thanks.

Hello Michael, First, let me say "Welcome to the Message Board". At times there is not much activity on this board, but we are always here and checking in. Please feel free to post some of your work. There are a lot of Drag Racing builders on this board (including myself) and I think we all would be interested in seeing the parts you mentioned, not to mention that we would love to see some of your builds also. On another note, I am the Committee Chair Person for the Rt-66 Rendezvous Model Car show. This model show is only a small part of a much larger 1:1 car show that runs for 4 days and pulls about 1500 1;1's (The Model Contest is only 1 day). Please visit www.route-66.org/ to view the web site. Do you know how to access your personal mail feature here? (I only ask because it is not as straight forward as it used to be) I will send you a PM, and let you know more about how you can be a sponsor. Again, Welcome to the board, and post away.

Thanks guys. I tried to see where i can read PM's.. and the process apparently escapes me on this board. Could you just email the information to me? michael@dirtmodeler.com i think the shows next week so time's of the essence
