I’d also like to add my thanks to Rusty and the crew for all of their efforts, and giving modelers in So Cal a great reason to get together and see all of each other’s hard work and creativity. I’ve really learned a lot the last couple of years going to your shows.
I also want to thank the judges for the awards that Matthew and I were given Saturday. We were both overwhelmed and honored and wish we could have been at the awards presentation. I’m really sorry we missed it.
Hope to see you all at the next one!

Wow! Where do I begin? I guess I'll respond to each.
Hizoot - Thanks for the props. I hope the builders took full advantage of your being there to shoot the event. Glad you made it both as the Model Cars Photographer AND an entrant. It's always fun to see what you have cooking.
P.S. - PM me with your email address so I can sent the results to you.
Brian - I remember the days when you spent the whole day at a contest, and I must say that I really am glad you chose this event to "hang around" the entire day. I also need to say "Thank You", for the fantastic idea of the "Revell Only" display and for bringing so many of your builds for not only the display table, but for the contest tables as well. I think it went over well with Revell. Thanks also for all the photos you took and posted. Thanks for all you do for the hobby in general.
OMM - I hope you had fun, Thanks for coming out to support the show. I know you had some new stuff on the tables. You are also a big supporter of the hobby. Thank You.
Fuelish - With you I don't know where to begin really. Thanks for being one of my "right hands" and helping like you do. I know you really enjoy supporting the hobby as well, both in physically helping out, and shooting all the events like you do.
Art - You know, I remember the first time I saw one of your builds on the tables and knew you had talent. In the time I have been involved in shows, I can only remember a couple of times that a Box Stock build took Best in Show and, at this show, with the input of 6 different individuals, all agreed the midget racer was the one. What a fantastic example of what a builder can do when they have the basics down. And as for your son, keep him building too. I see some real potential there.
Lastly - Thanks to all for all your support. It does not matter if you volunteer to help, show up to participate, shoot photos to post, or if you support a show just by getting the word out.
