These are the modifications I did to bring the front end down. I didn’t think to take pictures or measurements as I went so you get to imagine a lot as you look at your parts. I hope this helps some. Upper control arm – I cut off the part that curls down over the frame and extended it straight out with some flat stock. Radiused the end and drilled a hole for the spindle. Spindle – cut the axle stub and flat section off and glued them back on at the top edge of the spindle. Spindle – Cut off about an eighth from the bottom (trial fit the wheel to be sure). Lower A Arm – mounted in stock holes but it bends up easily to match the raised spindle. Tie Rod assembly – Shortened the steering arm section and bent it to match the new spindle location. (It has to be shorter to clear the wheel). I tried to get pictures after it was together but my camera just goes fuzzy trying to show the details. I lowered the rear suspension by hacking and cheating the springs upward and inboard. Rusty was doing his Chrysler with some mini tubs and revised suspension so maybe he can provide info on the right way to do it. Anybody else got a touring Chrysler in the works? Brian

Well, it’s still coming together. I hope to have it done for the next museum meeting. Disclaimer – Any use of a factory stock color on any component is purely accidental. Yes, I’ve got the references to know what the stock colors were, this one just isn’t stock! Brian
