Well everyone, it's officially on.The model car contest is on. This year, we will be in the senior center, not the library. The folks at the library were great, we just need more space.
The date - September 20th, 2014.
There will be a $10.00 entry fee this year.
There is a possibility there could be vendors this year, we are trying to work that out.
Looking to volunteer? Let me know (I can use the help).

Yes, this IS the Ontario California Show. I'm waiting on the new flyers now, but I'll have some "do-fers" this Saturday.

Okay Guys and Gals, gonna bump this again. Here are a few more details for the model Contest. Entry fee is $10.00 per builder (limited to 12 entries Per builder) , and the entry to the contest is free for builders ages 12 and under. Spectators are also free. Contest Date - September 20, 2014 New Show Location - Ontario Senior Center 225 East B Street Ontario, Ca. Registration Hours - 10:00am to 2:00pm, and awards presented around 3:30pm. The contest is held in conjunction with the 1:1 Car Show and Cruise, so lots of food, live music, and hot rods. Come on out (the Senior Center has air conditioning) I will post a little bit more information either Tuesday evening or Wednesday about a Friday night concert at the ribbon cutting ceremony. |

Okay boys and girls, here is the last update. If you are in the area of the Reunion on Friday evening, there will be a free concert at the new Amphitheater. There will be 4 bands playing (I've attached a link). The first band (you may have heard of) is The Little River Band, then there are two other bands scheduled to play short sets, and the third band is a band by the name of WCR (World classic Rockers). Now you may not know the name, but this band is made up of former band members of bands such as Journey, Santana, Steppenwolf, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Boston (again, links attached) and will be playing songs from those bands. So, if you have nothing else to do and want to hear some live music, come on out.
