Congratulations, Bob. That Bug looks really good. It's nice to see a model of a "built" VW engine as a change from the usual V-8s.

Chepp, Yeah that's me,..... I like these builds where real people took a chance for better or worse. from what i have been told, this guy still has a shop up in northern cal.
Scott, Thank you for the compliments, hope to see you at grand natl. show in Pomona, you can get a bird's eye view of it over their.
56150, Thanks,... you now with out your help this model wouldn't have happened. now go build that secret model we have been bugging you about
OMM, thanks, .... they are a challenge to build, but the finished product is rewarding, took a couple of years to do, but I knew that.
don't give up and take your time, build what you like and enjoy the hobby.

Fuelish, I want to personally thank you for all the help with this build, not only the advise you gave me when I got stuck, But I want to thank you for the countless hours you spent on the graphics to finally get the decals to work, whew that was crazy, so when you see this build know that you had a lot to do with it.Lots of Blood, Sweat and Tears, I guess you could say.
