Nice shots, John. Those crash sequences are amazing! What do they do when the engines sink to the bottom?

Nice shots, John. Those crash sequences are amazing! What do they do when the engines sink to the bottom? Hey Now Art.... That is a great question... I will try my best to explain... - The most deepest part of the entire lake / track is 12 ft deep...
- The Lucas Oil Drag Boat Emergency Crews fish out the motor from the bottom of the lake after each incident or crash...
- I believe there are (4) emergency boats on the water at all times during qualifying and eliminations...
- One of them is used to fish out the debris that is sitting on the bottom of the lake as shown...
- There is only (1) diver per emergency boat...
- It takes (2) divers too swims down and attach the ropes to the motor in order to fish it out of the lake...
- Then they hoist out the motor from the lake and deliver the remaining parts to the drag boat team latter on that day...
- (Simply like an "Oil Down Time" on the asphalt)...
