"Our Buddy" Tom Hickspanic Acosta

It is not easy to type this... but I regret to announce that on the morning (02/02/15) Tom decided with God to leave us in peace after a sudden illness.

To say that "Our Buddy" Tom "Hickspanic" Acosta was a special person would be a gross understatement.
Tom Acosta was an RC Racer, (Model Car Builder), A Musician, An Airbrush Artist, A Teacher, A Father,
A Brother, A Son, A Husband, A Man of God and a Best Friend too too Many.

The Tom's family does not want anyone to remain "down" for too long. More than anything - Tom always wanted to laugh, sing, race RC cars, build model cars, and he loved everyone who he called a friend FIERCELY. He was a Giver and a Teacher and would want everyone he had impact on to celebrate life... because he knew life was so precious...

The Memorial Service for Tom "Hickspanic" Acosta will be at "The Rock Church and World Outreach Center" in San Bernardino, California so that all his friends can be together to celebrate his life...

Where: The Rock Church and World Outreach Center
               2345 S Waterman Ave San Bernardino Ca.
When:    02-21-2015 (Saturday)
Time:      1pm

We would like to honor Tom in a way that would only rival the size of his laugh and smile. Even if all you can donate is a story or picture of your favorite memory... The family will use these contributions towards this celebration of his life.

What can be said that fuelish didn't already say?, except for Tom knew no enemies and was a friend to all. He was friendly the first time I met him and remained a friend since. He would always greet you with a smile. I too am sad to see him go, but we are all much richer having known him. So, although "the voice of the Citrus Nationals" has been silenced on this earth, I for one, will always remember the impact he had. Gods speed Tom, rest in peace my friend.

In reference to Tom "Hickspanic" Acosta memorial services tomorrow...

Note.... There is no Formal Reception after the memorial service. HOWEVER.....the Love Rock Cafe and adjoining courtyard are going to open to chill, have a coffee or bite to eat. Point of interest.....it's gorgeous, affordable, and all started by Tom and Martha Acosta as a fundraising method to benefit the Rock Church Children's Ministries. See Ya there tomorrow...
