Well, I tried to put bare metal foil on my new model, front half a 49 Merc & back half a 57 Chevy. Came out good but in putting foil on the side chrome strips it got messed up. HELP!! how in the world do you get it off without messing up the paint? it wants to come off in very tiny pieces. Any advice will be greatly appreciated Jim

Jim, I just use a toothpick to push it into a big enough piece I can grab with the tweezers. The toothpick is soft enough to not scratch the paint. Brian

jim go to hobby lobby at the brush section i believe, they sell a tool that looks exactly like and artist brush handle except it has a rubber nob where the brush hairs go, it is super soft and wont harm your paint job use it as brian mentioned, you can also use it to apply your bare metal foil it has alot of uses, it will pay back for itself.
