First, go to, www.photobucket.com, and sign up for a free, (Yes Free), account. Follow the easy steps to load pictures from your computer to your new account. When you have the pictures in you account. Follow the steps to post pics to the message board.
You have done the hard part already. Now, what you need to do is open your new photobucket account.
If you only want to post one picture to a message, follow these instructions:
Locate the picture you want to use. Below that pic you will see the abbreviation "IMG Code".
Left click your mouse one time over the letters in the box to the right of "IMG Code". This should have highlighted it. Make sure your cursor is over the highlighted area and right click once. This should open a Pop-up window with the words "Copy" in it. Scroll down and left click once.
Now go to the forum. Decide where you want your message and picture to go.
Type any information about the picture that you want to tell us. When you are through typing, hit the enter key once. This will move the flashing cursor to a new line. Place your cursor within the area of the flashing cursor and right click.
You should see the same Pop-up window where you got "Copy" from.
Scroll down to the word "Paste" and left click once. You should now see something that looks similar to this:
i72.photobucket.com/albums/i164/FuelishSpectator/1-12%20Scale%20Chopper/JohnHilkertPurpleChopper6.jpg
It should have this at the begining: [ IMG ]http......
Without any spaces.... (Shown with spaces for clarity)
Also should have this at the end: ....jpg[ /IMG ]
Without any spaces.... (Shown with spaces for clarity)
This is the url code for your picture. If you followed all of the instructions, you should be able to click on the word "Preview" below the Message Box and see your message and picture. If you do, simply hit the word "Post Message" and its there for everyone to see.
I hope this is explained clearly for you.
If you were not satisfied with with these instruction I will make and exception to literally come over to your computer where ever it may be and help you as hands on training.....
