I picked up this 1/16 Funny Car cheap due to cracks in the finish I have them ground out and now in primer. What do you think it will be?  Hey Fuelish. Do they still make lines in the bodies these days where the doors are? I don't remember them. Dwayne |

DJ....
My home puter just keeps on crashin major virus... I will be intemittent on and off for a couple weeks..... As for the Funny Car this appears to be a Monte Carlo body.... I would go with a Phantom style name Like "DJ" Motorsports with that california gold color sunset yellow paint fade.....

I know the body wont be correct but I just cant afford a mopar body unless I can sell some stuff.
I like the Monster look and I have never been one to worry about what the "real" car looks like. If I like it that is all that I care about.
And you can never please everyone. On another board guys are making comments about the removable roof on my cuda and it's design. The design is an exact copy of the ferrari f50. If it works for Ferrari it is good enough for me LOL.
I am going to do a little reshaping of this body with some bondo.

Hey DJway, YOU ARE THE MAN!!!! BUDDY, build what DJ likes don't try to please other people. When you try to please others thats when you lose your creativity, everything I have seen of your builds are great, please don't change to please others.

Hey Now...there are only 4 1/16 scale die cast bodies that I know of...Stratus, Mustang, old Buick La Sabre, and the Firebird. Yours is not the first 3, so it gotta be the "bird. The Monster grafix will look da bomb on this one...cant wait to see complete...Tom
