Hey Now... I just spent some time and open up the package from www.alteredstatesmodels.com/ Top Fuel Hydro... The casting is very well defined with minimal flash. As you look at the photos I did no sanding or cutting to bring the 2 half's together only set the canopy on top with the dog house... So this is now going to be numeral UNO on my bench.. Nov 1st 2008 is dead-line for the Arizona NNL competition. Will keep you guys up up-dated... Chuck Meir of www.alteredstatesmodels.com/ assured me that the canopy windscreen and the w-drive unit is going to be shipped out as soon as it is finish with the new molds for casting... And the race to finish is on LOL. I am not sure when I will start mine and I really doubt I will be as detailed. But I do expect you and Bob to teach me where all the little bitty parts go LOL. Dwayne

Dwayne DJ.... If you watch the progression of the hydro you will understand the concept... 1st..... I am going to massage all the parts to make sure they are all proper fit... 2nd... Briefly read the instructions..... 3rd.... Start building the motor... The doner kit is probably the Tony Shumacher Top Fuel Army dragster motor the Budweiser King will also do as well.... Fuelish

Hey Now.... I just got the 1st step and massage all the parts that pertains to the hull... Lightly sanded the parts to fit... ("I Stress very Lightly") As you all know Resin Material cuts real quick when sanded so use a finer nail file or a used and abused nail file as I did. I had to file all the flashing and made sure everything fit up correctly secure parts in place bye using masking tape. I still need to address the canopy glass frame because its not a clear area from the casting. Also please excused the dust bunnys inside the lens I need to take camera into the shop for a rigorious cleaning... Fuelish December 30th 2007.................................

Hey Now John...
This particular Hydro was purchased on-line at Altered States Models... Website... www.alteredstatesmodels.com/
It has been on there front page for awhile... Though the price is steep and make sure to request a canopy glass with your hydro... Because Scratch Build one is real difficult...
Also you will have to make a trailer or a stand for it also...
My build has been place on the back-burner until ?
Oh Yeah... This is cast in 1/25 scale...
I also have a website devoted to Scale Model Hydros public.fotki.com/jth109/drag-boats-models/
I have to give my Buddy John Teresi "KUDOS" who created this phantom hydro...
