The Desert Scale Classic will be held on April 26, 2008. We would like to invite the Kitbashers of Southern California to our event. We want you to know that our club members will not be able to participate in the event except in a club specific contest. We would also like to provide you a time slot to give out a club award. Hey great to hear from another modelcar club,I will bring up this event at our next meeting and I believe a couple of guys are aware of this event,I believe I meet one of your members at the last show at the postal hall and really enjoyed talking with him(sorry bad on names)Web site looks great and will stop in from time to time,will keep you posted on getting down to your event and hope to meet you all there.Modeltech0

Let me just say that we would really love to have your club out to our event. I also want to remind you all that our club will not be able to enter any of the contests. We will have a people's choice award that will be specific to out club members. We would like to offer you the chance to present your own club award to one of your members. We would make sure to give you time in the microphone to make your award presentation. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to call Bernie at 602-485-5822. Has anyone contacted these guys to find out more about sponsorships? I think we need to do something to help out. If nobody has contacted them, I will. Just let me know.

I am little confused  .... Are you talking about sponsoring a table at there event or asking them to sponsor our event.... If you are asking did I get in touch with them about sponsoring our event? Well, actually both. But I think we need to help sponsor their show if we want to ask them to do the same at ours. What do you guys think?. On another note, yes I did get to orange county. (see the post by Hizoot on the general topics section. I also commented on the show there)  |
