Hey 82k5....
I am not much of a diorama type of guy. But if I had a shop or garage I would love too see the floor sparkling white because I try to build in a clean environment. Checker board reminds me of a old 60s style automotive show room... Doesn't fit my personal take.. But who am I... I never have built a Diorama yet....

Thats cool bro everyone's intitiled to there own opinion, building in a clean enviroment is as it should be !!!! This shop I built for my son, and he thinks that's cool. The larger street rod shop dio I building is planned with a white floor for the shop, the clean room, and the machine shop area. The show room area is going to get a thin layer of concrete so I can stain it for a modern look.
