Ya know how when you try to remove a molded in item or try to remove some mold lines you get swelling from one coat of paint to the next. The solvent of the new layer gets into the old fill and it swells. Well, I was having this problem crop up again the other day on a current project and was getting a little frustrated. Suddenly, it hit me that I use future to protect decals from any type of clear coat I want to use. I sanded out the primer so all was super smooth and then I brushed on two thin coats of Future over the problem areas. I let it dry and then I laid down another coat of primer, NO SWELLING, NO MARKS. Boom, problem solved. I hope others can get use out of this. DJ

I am now working to see if I can apply it over the primer after fixing red plastic flaws. I want to see if it will block the red bleed and keep the final paint from turning pink instead of a pretty white.
