Success..!

Well now,

It looks like the 1st Citrus Nationals was a success. The only thing negative I heard all day was the lighting in the room... Thanks to Gary & DJ, for the use of their flahlights..!

My challenge build is complete as well... I know that we have all year to do this but I got a slight head start & want to move on to other projects. So without further delay here it is ;





I realize it's not the most detailed model I've built but detail was not what I was in search of. Remember this model was bought & built in 1963 (the year the Beatles came to USA) by a 10 year old kid. It was brushed painted Christmas red & green, so I'm sure Mike (original builder) would be proud of this transformation;

Well I have not attended a single event yet where lighting was not a complaint and I have been in many places where it was much worse so I can live with that.
I saw a few things that we can easily make even better so I think next year will step up even more.
