Congratulations & thanks DJ,
I don't know if that's paint or decals but I DO know, it's WILD..! Like how you kept to the old parts as well... I hope to put together the slide show & post by the end of the year. Again, well done..!Hizoot

No parts left over except for the battery that I did not use again. Also I would like to thank Brian Radford for the fender skirts and spinners. The decals are from an old AMT kit that I resized and shaped then changed the color. I used the new testors one shot rattle cans for the body and clear. Not that impressed. It polishes easy enough but does not lay out flat very easy. The spray was not consistent and it had a lot of bubbles in it even when I let it sit for a while. It would spray light then heavy then light, a real pain. Another lesson I learned is that the Alps decals dont like decal softener very much. They never would lay totally flat after use. As you can tell this is not my kind of build but it was fun to do something different. Tanks again Jeff for your generous gift for the December build.

You're welcome DJ,
Simply FYI - If you're talking about that new Testors lacquer, it has sooo many anti run & anti fish eye agents in it, it needs to be shot differently than most. It's for people who don't have a clue & shoot thick & hot (ie. one coat). So it's not designed for a thin or tack coat like you did. I had very similar problems, now I use it when I want to slow down my final coat. I simply de-can some into my air brush & add my HOK clear about about 30 /70 % & it will lay down & dry quicker as well. Hope this helps...Hizoot
