This one came from an antique store downtown. It had all the trim and emblems until the disaster with the paint stripper! Now it's a nice 5 foot model. Oh Well !!! Brian  |

I didn't know they made a Valiant,
Is that an old promo..? My father drove one of those for a short time back in the day... Problem is that I'd make a full on gasser out of it, straight axle, pie crust, roll bar, drag chute, the works..!Hizoot

Jeff,
It's an old SMP (not AMT) 61 Valiant - I'm pretty sure they were kits. The way it was kid glue bombed together makes it probable it was a kit.
I've still got the '62 Lancer (Revell kit) that was going to be its stablemate. Now it's on the future project list.

As I recall the 62 Valiant had those big wings on it,
